Kinantyawan ni Senador Antonio Trillanes IV si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na “obsessed” na umano sa kaniya. Pinagtawanan pa niya ito at sinabing, “Siguro habang natutulog ito, napapanaginipan ako eh. Sana magkaroon ka ng nightmares because of me because I will not go away,” dagdag pa niya.



“Makikita niyo doon sa speech niya na minention ‘yung pangalan ko na siguro mga mahigit isang daang beses. Parang na-o-obsess na sa akin eh,” Trillanes said in a press briefing held after the scheduled Duterte-Panelo tête-à-tête.



Trillanes said he will remain in his Senate office after the Supreme Court junked his appeal for a temporary restraining order on the implementation of Mr. Duterte’s Proclamation No. 572, which voided ab initio the amnesty granted to him and directed for his arrest. 



To recall, another administration critic, Senator Leila De Lima, also cracked a similar joke – that is if Mr. Duterte had a crush on her for consistently pinning her down.
