Duterte: 'Reds, Magdalo, political rivals plotting to oust me'
President Rodrigo Duterte said he has evidence to prove that his political opponents, the communists, and the Magdalo group were conspiring to overthrow him.

In an interview of BGen. Antonio Parlade, AFP Asst. Deputy Chief of Staff of Operations, parlade confirms that te 'RED OCTOBER PLOT' is really serious, and they have gathered informations and evidences. Watch the Interview for more details.

“Alam mo si Sison pati itong Magdalo, pati itong mga ayaw sa akin, ‘yung mga hindi tumanggap sa akin ever since the election, they have combined. And we have the evidence and we have the conversation provided by a foreign country sympathetic to us,” Duterte said in a televised interview with Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Salvador Panelo.

Duterte was referring to Jose Ma. Sison, founding chairman of the Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP); the Magdalo, a group of rebel soldiers who railed about anomalies in the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP); and his political rivals.

The President said he has requested the documents to be declassified so it can be made public.

Duterte said there's no need for a coup d'etat if uniformed personnel want him out of the Presidential seat.

"You'd look silly. Do not do that. Just go to my office, tapos mag-usap tayo (then, let's talk). Do not go into such stupid things like coup d' etat, coup d' etat. Just talk to me. And if I think that you are right, I will agree with you and I will step down," he said.

Duterte, likewise, continued his tirade against communist groups, saying that they have done nothing but to "kill everybody" for the past few decades.

"Yun ang alam ng NPA. (That's what the New People's Army does) To destroy the government, to destroy its functions. To kill the soldiers, kill the policemen, kill everybody for the last 52 years," he said.

Duterte added he is also not ready to talk with rebel groups as of the moment.

"Even the talks now are almost gone. I don't know if it could be revived. But I am not ready at this time to talk to the communists," he said.

Duterte on September 12 said there's an alleged plot to sabotage and assassinate him. He said he has audio evidence that communist leader Jose Maria "Joma" Sison, the Magdalo group, and other critics are in constant communication to plot his ouster. He added he will ask the "foreign country sympathetic to us" that gave him the information to declassify the intel.

Sison has, meanwhile, confirmed the communist group is determined to remove Duterte from power, but he denied conniving with Vice President Robredo, Senator Antonio Trillanes, and groups from the opposition. He dared Duterte to release proof that communist rebels are banding with the opposition to destabilize the government.

On the other hand, House Speaker Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo on Wednesday said the public should believe President Rodrigo Duterte on the so-called “Red October” destabilization plot because he was “working from good information.”

“Again, going from my experience as president, the President really has access to information that not all of us have access to,” Arroyo told reporters in an interview.

“If the President believes that there is a threat, he is working from good information. So, we should believe whatever (he’s saying),” she added.
